This morning we welcomed our Poet in Residence, Denise Blake, back for her third workshop. The children really enjoy her visits, and today's topic of Animals, appealed to them all very much. They looked at beautiful photos of wild animals and birds, and wrote imaginative poems about them. They also had a think about questions they would like to ask their animals, and and even imagined some replies. Thanks again to Denise for all the effort she puts into these workshops, and for giving each child a chance to read out their own poems.
