Accelerated Reading Celebration

This morning we held our final Accelerated Reading Awards assembly.  We were excited to announce 3 new Word Millionaires - Amber Quigley, Josh Bradley and Laila Sharkie.  For the first time prizes were awarded to two Year 2 pupils.  Overall, as a school, we have read well over 45 million words.

We are so excited by how this programme has grown over the last few years, and hope that our children will have developed a life-long love of reading.

Thanks to parents who encourage their children to read at home.  Reading really is the key to all learning.
